Madonna's Adoption

Many celebrities are trying to adopt kids; the most known in adoption is Angelina Jolly.

Recently there is news going on about Madonna got denied of adopting a kid, Mercy James from Malawi. In the past, Madonna was successful to take away David Banda from Malawi for adoption. Now she is trying to adopt Mercy James again from Malawi, but she got denied since it is against the country rule.

Why Madonna chose to adopt a child from Malawi, why not other African or poor countries? For example, Angelina Jolly adopting three kids from different countries; did not depend on one country.

Madonna, before going to Malawi, why doesn’t she send people to investigate/clarify if she is going to be allowed or not than going by her own and getting denied. Is she trying to show her power by being against the country rule or what is she trying to do? There are many African or other poor countries she can spot on.

Why doesn’t she support Mercy sending money? By taking a child away to where she lives wouldn’t make much difference; she is busy on her own anyways. Is she trying to take the child to have a family or to help the child or to help the country? If she trying to help the child/ the country, she is a celebrity and I think she can help more kids. She is adopting David; she is doing good, but she can do much better. Instead of spending money for round trip ticket to Malawi or spending to herself relating Malawi, why doesn’t she donate that money to the poor?

Madonna can send money monthly to Mercy’s relatives to take care of Mercy or she can send money to foster kids/the orphanage place to support not only Mercy, but also other kids who got disadvantaged like Mercy.

I think, if she wants to adopt only one person, it must not be from Malawi, but she can spot another poor country. Just because she is a celebrity or rich, she can’t be against the country rules; if she is successful in adopting Mercy or not, I think she shall help other disadvantaged kids in Malawi or other poor countries as well in order to make difference. Oprah is an example to open school in South Africa to help a lot of students; those who got chance, when they grown up, they could do the same to others.
